WHAT HAPPENED?

My busy work week has become less so. I have a feeling that, in a day or two, they will be asking for some hardcore 12 hour day or some such nonsense. yay.

I havent blogged in awhile so lessee...I went to philly this weekend. Me and Jill were going to see the phillies on Saturday but we experienced our first rain out. It started as soon as we got there and they canceled it 2 hours later.

On sunday we met my parents and brothers at Maggiano's, a family style restaurant.
Now I warn you, unless you haven't eaten in 10 days DON'T order family style. It was my first time and I suffered from serious rough justice.

Finished reading Sloth. Fuck Gilbert Hernandez. Seriously. As Justin pointed out it does have a lot in common with Lost Highway, but the characterizations, the interactions, the way they breathe, that's the juice. The guy could draw nothing happening for hundreds of pages and I'd be captivated. That's what I love about GH. It was nice to see him outside of the L and R world again too. He seemed more confident than the last time (which I believe was Grip). It would be awesome if he did more little graphic novels alongside the L and R stuff.

I LOVE my drums. Right now I'm trying to practice to the Super-Sicks song "Rugged Sick Vest". Eventually I'll get good enough to record the fucker.
