Progress...
Ok, I attempt to blog.
-had a wonderful time making music with Jeremy, Jeff and Kenny. It was the first good workout I gave the drums. I'm definitely getting better (though it's been too hot to bother practicing the past couple days). We recorded about two hours of stuff, switching instruments and seeing what'd happen. It's highly listenable.
-making decent progress with Carl. the first 5 are drawn and lettered. The first is mostly inked, the second is about half-inked. Im going to break the pages in half for the website. I figure one half a week, with the occasional surprise extra update. All depends on how much i get done. I'll be launching the week of SPX. specifically
wednesday October 11th! Aside from being the birth of Carl's large story it's also the birthday of Michelle Trachtenberg, U-God, and Daryl Hall. That's some fine pedigree right there. Fine indeed.
-really, stupidly wonderfully enjoying Runaways. Alphona'a art seems to be getting better. more confident. It's the most I've enjoyed a Marvel book in a long time.
-Just finished the first season of Boston Legal. Rowdy fun. Shatner and Spader are so good with each other its bizarre. Watched the first episode of Weeds annnnd. ugh. i have the disc so i'll watch the rest, but ,man, that is some serious rough justice.

I want to debut a book on Oates' birthday. Long live Oates.
I should read those Runnaways. I think I only got halfway through the first before something happened and I didn't read more.
Disapointed by Weeds. I want that to be good.

Some shows' pilots are becoming available on netflix a month or two before the shows premiere.
